Charlie’s Place offers a unique environment for clients to begin the healing process.
While some facilities are in hospitals or institutional settings, Charlie’s Place is more like a college campus.
Clients live dorm-style in large individual houses
with several clients to a room. They are responsible for the daily operation
and cleanliness of their own houses, and quickly begin working
together and providing
positive peer support for each other during
their treatment stay. This "community" style of treatment has been very effective over the past 42 years.
Charlie’s Place is licensed to provide services to male and female adults (18 or older) who have a diagnosis of substance abuse or dependence.
We have a complete continuum of care, which includes medical detoxification, intensive residential, supportive residential and outpatient programs.
Clients are permitted to enter treatment at whatever level of care is appropriate for their individual needs.
