The following provides information about
Charlie's Place.
- Mission: To promote recovery from addiction through change
- Established in 1965
- Serves over 1,900 people per year with over 27,000 served
since 1965
- Bed capacity of Detox increased from 15 to 41 in Dec 2007,
allowing us to serve as many as 2,500 client per year in detox.

- Total capacity: 126 beds including:
- medical detox
- residential
- long term residential for veterans
- long term residential for homeless
- women and children’s residential
- In addition to residential services, we offer outpatient and
family services.
- We have 70 employees including a Medical Director,
Nursing Staff and Licensed Counselors. Will increase staff as beds
are increased.
- We accept clients who are not financially eligible for
indigent services but do not have insurance or have exhausted
their insurance.
